This is a very newsworthy photo that really encapsulates the story. Not only that, it looks like the photographer got the best angle by getting in the water to catch the action and a sea of onlookers.

The photos gave a nice overall feel for the disc golf course and what people do. The video was a nice complement to showcase this very local story.

The video posted to the newspaper’s YouTube account allows those who weren’t there to see exactly what happened to mar the basketball game between local rivals. The article and photos do a good job telling the story, and the video pushes it over the top and shows how a reporter can use multiple methods to tell the story.
