A robust, deep and colorful special section honoring our Nation's birthday and all the majesty and history that goes along with it. This was one of the best Fourth of July sections I've seen in my 28 years in newspapers. Liked the patriotic color use, the variety of stories and it had all the needed elements any reader would desire to have a great few days. Thank you.

As a photojournalistic exercise, this one is much better. The top photo is strong. Many subsequent photos tell different pieces of the story. But there are still at least three images you could lose - and actually strengthen the others. A dozen photos on the page is just too many to do any one of them justice.

Always see the sames shot in baseball, this one stood out to me as it was being in the right moment.
