Outstanding story that grabs the reader in the lead and then develops with the details. There were a lot of solid news stories in the competition, but most told the story from a 10,000-foot view. Those that stood out featured real people that are impacted by the story.

A GREAT special section honoring military veterans. There was a wide range of articles/stories on about every topic one could imagine in relation to veterans and their needs/lives/situations. Loved the depth and breadth of content. Design was good, content flowed and in end, stood out above all other entries. Thank you!
